Jessica and Evan were immediately drawn to each other after being introduced at a charity event in the summer of 2015. Jessica’s beauty and outgoing personality complimented Evan’s handsome blue eyes and warm spirit. Evan sensed something special during this first encounter and wanted to explore this feeling so he asked Jess to save him a dance. Jess acknowledged this chivalrous approach and happily agreed to meet on the dance floor later in the evening. The rest is history….

A wonderful romance ensued as the two bonded over travel, dinner dates, many concerts, a lot of University of Michigan sporting events, forging new friendships with each others friends and families, fun filled holidays, and exploring all that the wonderful city of Chicago has to offer.

 

Evan soon discovered that he was in love and told Jess on a trip to one of their favorite destinations, Park City, Utah. Jess felt the same and told Evan that she too had fallen in love with him some time ago.

Understanding that he could not spend the rest of his life without Jess by his side, Evan turned to her one afternoon on the beach in Florida, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him. And, here we are!
